Buhari's action is a slap on Osinbajo's face - Reno Omokri

Pastor Reno Omokri has warned Vice President Osinbajo not to shut his eyes to the signs around him. The former aid to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, made his call in the wake of the dust stirred by President Buhari's letter to the Senate, regarding his medical leave.

A letter sent by the president to the Senate, notifying lawmakers of his trip, raised questions on Tuesday May 9 about Prof Osinbajo’s powers after Buhari failed to address him as “acting president”. Reacting to the developing issue, Omokri took to social media, lamenting that Buhari has dealt unfairly with Osinbajo. He said: During his time in office, President Goodluck Jonathan had a Coordinating Minister for the Economy. That is the level to which President Muhammadu Buhari has reduced ViProfessor Yemi OsinbajoYemi Osinbajo to today.

Alas! And to those who are saying that the nomenclature does not matter, go home and call your father 'my mother's husband' and after he has slapped you back into reality come back here and realize that if it is not panadol it is not the same thing as panadol. VP Osinbajo did a very good job the last time he was acting President and as such no one who loves Nigeria should hesitate to accord him the respect he has earned even though by reason of his peculiar situation he cannot complain about this shabby treatment meted out on him for fear of playing into the hands of the 'Cabal'.

"We see ourselves sitting at the top table with the big boys," says father Perry Hughes confidently. "We don't think we're taking on the competition." It might sound optimistic to put your family business in the same league as the multi-billion dollar social networks but the Hughes family certainly have the passion to give it a go. Their big idea is GameDay Xtra, which has the bold ambition of hosting a page for every single sports team and player in the world - with even the humblest of leagues able to share their own news. Son Sam, 21, has suspended his university studies and works through the night on the project. Daughter Mollie, 18, handles the social media side. GameDay is purely for sports fans, the family say. Members get live...
